Karen Natho
BPHE BSc MSc R. KIN
Karen graduated from Queen’s University, Kingston and University of Alberta,
Edmonton. She is passionate about sports for persons with disabilities, involved in
ParaSport initiatives around the country and is a Board member of the 2022 Canada
Summer Games in Niagara, Ontario.
As a kinesiologist at Cedar Valley Physiotherapy & Pain Clinic, Karen works directly with
clients to support their rehabilitation goals of better health and mobility. She specializes
in therapy for people with injuries and special needs. Karen has an extensive therapy
background in working with youth and young adults with disabilities, aspiring athletes
and gait analysis.
Out of the clinic, Karen is a lecturer in the Department of Kinesiology at the University
of the Fraser Valley and owns ParaWell Play, a business which supports opportunities for
movement, learning and development. She is an avid athlete, competing in multiple
Ironman triathlons, marathons, and SwimRun Championships.
