TMJ Dysfunction Therapy
TMJ physiotherapy focuses on the assessment and treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction, which can cause jaw pain, clicking, stiffness, headaches, facial tension, and difficulty chewing or opening the mouth comfortably. Treatment may include manual therapy, soft tissue release, mobility exercises, posture correction, and education to help reduce pain, improve jaw movement, and restore normal function. TMJ physiotherapy can also help address contributing factors such as muscle tension, teeth grinding, stress, and neck dysfunction while supporting the body’s natural recovery process.
